Rob Quiney’s 11th first-class hundred – his second in as many matches – led a strong batting display from Victoria, as the team powered to a commanding 4 for 347 on the first day against South Australia in Adelaide.Victoria, after winning the toss, began brightly as the openers Quiney and Chris Rogers added 92 in 23 overs. Rogers departed after stroking 47, but Quiney and Marcus Stoinis (51) ensured no momentum was lost, joining hands for a 40-over, second-wicket association which yielded 129 runs. Quiney muscled 15 fours to make his way to 125, but three wickets in quick succession opened the door slightly for South Australia. However, David Hussey counterattacked with an unbeaten 75, his 88-ball knock featuring 11 fours and a six, helping his team once again wrest the advantage.

ويوضح التقرير أن عقد هوك آي مع الدوري الإنجليزي ينتهي بنهاية الموسم المقبل، وبالتالي يمكن لرابطة البريميرليج تغيير الشركة التي قامت بتشغيل النظام منذ بداية تقنية الفار، وهي المسؤولة أيضًا عن تشغيل نظام تقنية خط المرمى.

É uma alternância que não pode acontecer – disse, para completar:

– Faz um mês que cheguei, hoje (domingo) foi o sétimo jogo. Tem muitas situações que não se consegue penetrar com um mês de trabalho e sem poder fazer as escolhas que se gostaria. Tento fazer o melhor que eu posso. Todos estamos empenhados em melhorar o time – completou.

Outra questão abordada pelo treinador foi a pouca criatividade do time na derrota para o Esmeraldino. O Fluminense finalizou apenas uma vez com perigo no gol de Tadeu.

– Eu não programo que a equipe não chute, mas muito pelo contrário trabalhamos muito para que a gente finalize. Aconteceu com frequência em jogos passados. Mas, hoje, infelizmente, não conseguimos – disse.

Com o resultado, o Fluminense abre a zona de rebaixamento, na 17ª colocação, com 18 pontos. Na próxima rodada, o Tricolor encara o Santos, às 20h, na quinta-feira, no Maracanã.

It was difficult to decide what was more brutal: the giant that is Mohammad Irfan stretching the Zimbabwe batsmen’s every sinew of resolve, the grimacing of Elton Chigumbura every time he took a step, no doubt ripping his torn quadriceps up a little more, or the gulf between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, which grew smaller, larger, smaller and then finished the same way it began.The giants were not slayed, the little guys did not win, and in the end, what matters is that Pakistan’s quarter-final hopes are alive, while Zimbabwe’s are all but over.But the drama of the second half of the match did not decide its outcome as much as the deeds of the first did. For the third time in three matches, Pakistan’s batting let them down. For the fourth time in four matches, Zimbabwe’s death bowling let them down.After having Pakistan on the ropes at 162 for 6 from 40 overs, Zimbabwe conceded 73 in the last 10. Wahab, Rahat Ali and Sohail Khan all offered boundary balls and the pair knew when to accept the offerings.Although the run-rate hovered around three-and-a-half, their approach of keeping wickets in hand seemed sensible until they detracted from it. When Irfan was brought back for a second spell, Masakadza tried to take him on but skied to mid-off where Misbah-ul-Haq took a tumbling catch.But Zimbabwe were unfazed. Taylor and Sean Williams accelerated, with Williams taking on Irfan and pushing for singles, often turning them into twos. Their 50-run partnership came up in 41 balls and in the next over, Taylor brought up his first milestone of this tournament. However, three balls later, Taylor threw it away as he tried to tickle a ball down the leg side only to edge behind.Akmal did not take his next chance as simply. Craig Ervine got an edge off Shahid Afridi when he was on just four, but the ball popped out of Akmal’s gloves. Pakistan may have rued that error but everything changed when in the next over, Williams also gifted his wicket. He pulled a Rahat short ball to backward point and remained rooted to the crease in disbelief.Ervine was joined by Solomon Mire, who only lasted long enough to flash at Irfan, but the big question was whether Chigumbura would join the fight. After injuring himself in the field, Chigumbura would have hoped for some feet-up time but limped onto the park to face 13 overs and try to see Zimbabwe home.He may have wanted to give up when Riaz removed Ervine and Mupariwa in the same over but marshaled his No.10, Tinashe Panyangara, through a 47-run, ninth-wicket stand. It gave Zimbabwe hope of pulling off something special. Chigumbura played sensibly, turning down runs when he knew he would not be able to, and attacking when he could.He kept Zimbabwe in it until the last over, although they needed 24 runs to win by then. Chigumbura did everything that could have been expected of a man who had to leave the field in the 24th over, after falling while trying to gather a ball. At that point, he had seen his team enforce a squeeze he would have been proud of.Panyangara began with signature discipline and Tendai Chatara surprising speed – the gun put him in the lower 140kphs. Between them, they frustrated Pakistan’s openers. Nasir Jamshed’s patience was up by the end of the second over, when he pulled a Chatara short ball to Sikandar Raza at square leg. Ahmed Shehzad seemed to be slightly coping better with the lack of scoring opportunities but could do nothing against the delivery that nipped away, kissed the edge and gave Taylor a simple catch.At 4 for 2, Pakistan were teetering but Misbah took control with the help of Haris, who scored the first four in the sixth over. Another boundary did not come until the 15th over, by which time Pakistan had the unenviable record of the lowest 15-over score of this World Cup – 33 for 2.Their 50 came up in the 19th over but more important than the pace was the partnership. It was worth 54 before it was ended due to recklessness. Haris had enough of hanging around and pulled a Raza long hop he should have dispatched into the stands, to Williams at short midwicket. Just when things seemed to be going right for Zimbabwe, they suddenly went horribly wrong. In the 24th over, Chigumbura, running from mid-off, chased after a delivery Misbah drove but fell over before collecting, and had to be helped off the field.Taylor took over the captaincy duties and immediately got the spinners working in tandem. The first four overs Williams and Raza bowled together cost 24 runs as Akmal added some urgency. It was also during this period that Misbah raised his half-century, off 91 balls.Williams, however, once again jolted Pakistan with a double strike. First, he fired one in quick and fast that straightened as it passed Akmal’s outside edge and hit the top of his offstump. Two balls later, he popped the balloon on Afridi’s 35th birthday when he got one to turn past his forward defense and crash into the stumps, dismissing the batsman for his first World Cup duck.Zimbabwe brought their front-line seamers back for the Powerplay and Tawanda Mupariwa struck, as Maqsood gave him a return catch off a leading edge. Pakistan limped to the 40th over on 162 for 6 but still, alarm bells would have been ringing for Zimbabwe.Chatara had the wicket of Misbah to add to a fine afternoon’s effort, but Panyangara was a little less accurate, missing the yorker and going too short, much to the delight of Wahab.Wahab plundered all but three of the 33 runs taken off Panyangara’s last three overs, hitting cleanly and targeting gaps. It proved far too costly, as Zimbabwe eventually missed a glorious chance to extend Pakistan’s losing run.

Agarkar: Good last over from Coulter-Nile under pressure

JP Duminy’s all-round brilliance set the foundation of Delhi Daredevils’ second win of the season but it still took remarkable presence of mind from Mayank Agarwal to close the doors on Sunrisers Hyderabad. The home team needed seven runs off the last two balls when Karn Sharma’s slice was headed over the rope behind point, but Agarwal leapt and parried the ball back into play to deny Sunrisers four runs. That save more or less sealed the result.That Sunrisers had managed to come so close was largely due to some late blows from Karn and Ashish Reddy, but they had already been put in an awkward position by Duminy. He had scored a 41-ball 54, one of the two key efforts that lifted Daredevils to their eventual 167, and his four key wickets were key in stalling Sunrisers.Duminy removed both David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan in the seventh over, just after the two had taken 30 off the previous two overs. Those strikes changed the momentum. Duminy pulled it towards Daredevils even further in the 17th over when he removed both Eoin Morgan and Ravi Bopara. It was only the fifth time a player had managed a fifty and a four-wicket haul in the same game.Batting was not easy on a tricky pitch. After their loss to Rajasthan Royals in their previous match, Sunrisers had asked the curator for a surface with more pace, but it wasn’t to be. The new pitch behaved exactly the way the other one did, with ball sticking and the bounce unpredictable. Throughout the game, seamers often used their slower ones, there were plenty of edges, while Dhawan took a couple of blows around the rib cage.Perhaps because of this unknown, Warner had said he wanted to bowl after Daredevils had opted to bat. As Agarwal edged to slip a rising delivery from Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, that decision seemed justified but Shreyas Iyer, after initial discomfort, showed that if a batsman was prepared to stick on, there were runs to be had.Iyer punched Dale Steyn, who was playing his first game of the season, for a boundary through cover in the bowler’s second over but was also lucky a couple of times as the edges evaded the fielders. Twenty-eight runs came in the first five overs but as Duminy held one end, Iyer went on the offensive, taking 12 runs off the sixth over, bowled by Praveen.Iyer reserved special treatment for Karn’s legspin, hitting the bowler for three sixes in the eight balls he faced off him, the last of which brought up his maiden IPL half-century, in 32 balls. That intensity manifested in the scores, as 52 runs came in the second five-over block.Iyer was dismissed soon after as he was fooled by a slower delivery, but Duminy, who had been patiently watching from the other end took the mantle of scoring, hitting two fours and a six off Bopara, then hoisting Steyn over long-on to reach his half-century off 39 balls.Such brilliance doesn’t ensure a win at times. Ask Yuvraj Singh, who has done that all-round double twice before, but his side lost the match in both instances. Today, however, Duminy had two critical supporting acts – Iyer with the bat and Agarwal, in that last over, down at the boundary.

وبشأن منع بابلو توري من اللعب ضد برشلونة: “يبدو منطقيًا، أنت تمتلك اللاعب ويلعب مع جيرونا معارًا، لا يمكن أن يشارك ضدنا، انظر ماذا حدث لأتلتيكو مدريد من جواو فيليكس، حاولنا وضعه في عقد إريك جارسيا ولكن لم ننجح”.

– Tenho vivido grande momentos aqui no Avaí. Foram 10 jogos que entrei e pude corresponder a altura, mas reconheço do grande momento do Vladimir. Somos grandes amigos, sempre que ele está jogando eu estou na torcida, por que sei que é recíproco. A gente tem uma briga muito saudável, nosso dia a dia é muito bom e o ambiente entre os goleiros é ótimo. Se o acerto do primeiro vínculo profissional foi dramático, não pode-se dizer do mesmo da estreia de Tailson com o técnico Jorge Sampaoli. Ele foi o autor do gol da vitória do Santos sobre o Vasco, por 1 a 0, no último sábado, em São Januário, pela 23ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro.

O camisa 39 integrava a atividade dos sparrings, quando o paraguaio Derlis González sentiu dores na coxa direita na véspera do jogo. Sendo assim, Tailson foi convocado e viajou ao Rio de Janeiro.

– O Derlis sentiu. Eu estava treinando do outro lado. O Sampaoli me chamou e eu não esperava. Eu fiquei sabendo que jogaria de titular na preleção, quando vi meu nome lá. Fiquei surpreso, feliz… Estava preparado, não me deixei abalar.

-Foi difícil dormir na noite, foram bons pensamentos, mas também foi um dia muito tranquilo – completou.

No treino da última segunda-feira, no CT Rei Pelé, Tailson treinou com os profissionais e também foi testado no time titular para o duelo contra o Palmeiras, nesta quarta-feira, às 21h30, na Vila Belmiro, pela 24ª rodada da competição nacional.

Soteldo e Derlis são desfalques certos por disputarem amistosos internacionais com Venezuela e Paraguai, respectivamente.Marinho e Lucas Venuto são outras opções pelos lados do ataque do Santos.
