He namedrops Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal specifically whilst putting the Hammers’ odds of signing David as fairly slim by comparison.

انتقد الحكم الدولي السابق جمال الغندور، الاستعانة بخبير تحكيمي أجنبي لرئاسة لجنة الحكام في مصر، مُشددًا على أن هذا التصرف ينتقص من قدر التحكيم المصري.

وكان اتحاد الكرة قد أعلن تولي الحكم الدولي الإنجليزي مارك كلاتنبرج رئاسة لجنة الحكام المصرية، بداية من أغسطس الماضي وحتى نهاية الموسم المُقبل.

وقال الغندور في تصريحات عبر برنامج “الريمونتادا” المُذاع على قناة “المحور”: “أنا أعترض على تواجد خبير أجنبي لتولي إدارة التحكيم في مصر، هذا لأول مرة يحدث في التاريخ”.

وتابع: “الاستعانة بـ خبير أجنبي ينتقص من الحكام المصريين، وتواجده دليلًا على عدم الثقة فيهم، وبالتالي الجميع سيفقد الثقة بالتحكيم المصري”.

وأضاف: “أنا أدافع عن حقي وحق كل الكفاءات المصرية القادرة على إدارة المنظومة التحكيمية، وأعلم أن هناك أخطاء مؤثرة، ولكن الأخطاء تحدث في كل دوريات العالم”.

واستكمل: “التطوير قد يحدث ولكن الأخطاء سوف تستمر، انظروا إلى ما يحدث في الدوري الإنجليزي”.

واختتم حديثه عن أفضل الحكام المصريين، قال: “محمد عادل، أحمد الغندور، محمود البنا، محمد معروف، وإبراهيم نور الدين، وأمين عمر، هم الأفضل في دوري الموسم الماضي”.

Aston Villa have introduced a new manager, with Steven Gerrard joining the club in November, and he will surely be confident going into his first Premier League winter transfer window, making his own mark on the squad.

Gerrard has been in charge of the side for seven games, with four wins for the Villains so far climbing from 16th to 10th since his arrival, and has had the opportunity to work with the current crop of players at Villa Park to determine his next moves in the upcoming transfer window.

He recently spoke to Birmingham Live to offer an insight to his plans for January;

“In terms of the January window, there’s obviously conversations at Villa and there always will be behind the scenes identifying areas where we can improve.”

Time to go

One player who is expected to be axed in the winter transfer window is striker, Wesley Moraes, who has been on loan at Club Brugge for the first half of the season, struggling to make an impact on the Belgian side with no goals or assists in his seven appearances.

The centre forward suffered a horrific ACL injury back in January 2020, when he was playing for Aston Villa, which saw him injured for almost 18 months, making his return in April 2021, and being sent out on loan to Club Brugge a few months later.

He is now linked with a move to one of two Brazilian clubs, Sao Paolo or Internacional, who are both rumoured to be interested in the £35K-p/w gem and it could really be a blessing in disguise for Gerrard, as he will be looking to free up funds so that he can spend on players he wants to add into his Aston Villa team of the future.

Rumours of a replacement

Gabriel Barbosa, better known as Gabigol, has been heavily linked with Aston Villa and a number of other Premier League clubs for that matter, including Newcastle United, West Ham, Arsenal and Everton.

The Flamengo forward has offered a much better output in his most recent season for his club compared to Villa flop, Wesley, with an impressive 29 goals and nine assists in 43 appearances, and has quite rightly grabbed the attention of Premier League clubs desperate to add goals and creativity to their side.

Flamengo legend, Zico, claimed Gabigol “has everything” in an interview: “I think Gabigol has everything to be the greatest striker in Flamengo’s history.”

Reports suggest that the goal machine would costs around £17m, but with the competition so broad across a number of Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested in securing Gabigol’s signature, it could be a battle of the highest bidder.

The Villa boss would surely welcome a striker with the volume of goals Barbosa has scored for his Rio De Janeiro based club at Villa Park, as he continues to attempt to climb the Premier League table in the second half of the season, in the hopes he will be able to repair the damage done before his arrival to the club last month.

No Flamengo, Reinaldo Rueda repetiu a escalação, mas sentiu falta de Juan, que ainda está em transição entre a parte física e técnica. Seu substituto, Rafael Vaz, não foi bem.

Para o segundo tempo, Rueda ousou ao colocar Vinícius Júnior na vaga de Cuéllar. O Fla passou a ter mais presença de ataque, o jovem atacante infernizou Michel Bastos, mas ainda assim Prass mal trabalhava.

Diego Alves, enquanto isso, pegou chute rasteiro, cabeçada… uma delas de Felipe Melo, que sentiu dores na coxa e saiu bem aplaudido. Thiago Santos, seu substituto, quase fez o 3 a 0, mas parou em outra grande defesa do goleiro rubro-negro.

Deyverson, entre algumas tomadas erradas de decisão, seguiu com participação ativa. Apesar dos pedidos por Willian, ele ficou até o fim. Horas depois de um tenso protesto, os jogadores palmeirenses até trocaram bola sob gritos de “olé”.

Diante da apática atuação do Flamengo, venceu o time mais interessado na arena. O resultado deu nova folga ao Verdão no G4: agora são seis pontos a mais que o Botafogo e sete mais que o Rubro-Negro, que para ir à fase de grupos da Liberta depende cada vez mais da Sul-Americana.

Na briga por uma vaga na próxima Libertadores, o Vasco precisa voltar a vencer nas duas últimas rodadas do Brasileirão para conseguir um lugar no G7 da competição. Para isso, o discurso no clube é de que não pode mais haver espaços para vacilos nessas partidas contra Cruzeiro e Ponte Preta. Para o lateral-direito Madson, a principal coisa que o Cruz-Maltino precisa mudar nesta reta final para conseguir a classificação é aumentar seu poder de definição dos jogos.

– Está faltando a definição, independente que seja do ataque ou da defesa, acho que tem que elevar o poder de decisão da equipe. Se a gente evoluir nisso, as chances de voltar a vencer são grandes – disse o jogador.

Realmente esse é um problema que atrapalhou muito o Vasco no Brasileiro. Já sob o comando de Zé Ricardo, o time acabou castigado com o empate em alguns jogos por não ter conseguido ‘matar’ o jogo. Em algumas ocasiões a equipe foi até superior que os adversários em boa parte da partida, mas não teve competência para aumentar o placar e garantir a vitória, como contra o São Paulo e Atlético-MG.

– Nos dois últimos jogos do time aqui em São Januário a performance foi elevada, mas não conseguimos matar o jogo. Contra o Atlético-MG, sem exagero, poderíamos ter saído do primeiro tempo vencendo por 3 a 0, e a equipe acabou não matando o jogo – lamentou Madson.

Outra coisa que Zé Ricardo vai precisar corrigir na equipe são os erros na saída de bola. Nas três últimas partidas o Vasco acabou levando gols após bolas perdidas perto da área enquanto tentava sair jogando. Madson acredita que os lances fazem parte do processo da filosofia de jogo que o time vem adotando com o novo treinador.

– Acho que tem momentos e momentos da partida. Logicamente que o Zé Ricardo trabalha muito a saída de bola até a exaustão, além da posse de bola. Nesses últimos jogos acabamos errando, perdendo a bola e nem dando tempo de arrumar. Mas faz parte, time grande igual ao Vasco tem que ter personalidade para jogar mesmo. Lógico que tem alguns momentos que é preciso jogar feio, mas se der para sair jogando tem que sair jogando – comentou o lateral, classificando os erros como infelicidades e garantindo que a equipe vai trabalhar para melhorar.

– Creio que tivemos infelicidades, mas vamos trabalhar para corrigir, para não errar mais na saída de bola e sair bem ali de trás para poder chegar no ataque e fazer os gols – completou.
