ظهر رئيس نادي برشلونة المؤقت، كارليس توسكيتس، للمرة الأولى أمام الصحافة والإعلام منذ قليل بعد توليه المنصب عقب استقالة، جوسيب ماريا بارتوميو، ومجلس إدارته يوم الثلاثاء الماضي.

وأعلن برشلونة في بيان رسمي عن أسماء مجلس إدارته المؤقت لمدة 3 أشهر لتسيير النادي إداريًا وماليًا حتى الانتخابات التي من المتوقع أن تقام في شهر يناير المقبل، وفقًا لبعض التقارير الإسبانية. (طالع التفاصيل)

وتحدث توسكيتس في مؤتمره الصحفي الأول عن المخطط التنظيمي الجديد في النادي وحذر من أن الوضع المالي لبرشلونة غير مريح، وقال: “الهدف من الاجتماع الذي عقدناه صباح اليوم، الخميس، هو الدعوة لانتخابات في أسرع وقت ممكن، لكننا لن نقبل الضغط للدعوة لإجراء الانتخابات في وقت غير مناسب”.

وعن الأسماء الحالية في المجلس المؤقت: “تم الاختيار بالاتفاق بيني وبين المسئول المكلف بتنظيم الأوضاع الإدارية في برشلونة، اعتقدنا أنه من المناسب ألا يكون هناك سوى أعضاء من اللجنة الاقتصادية والتأديبية فهذا أكثر ملائمة واستقلالية نظرًا للظروف الحالية في النادي”.

وأضاف في النهاية: “الوضع الاقتصادي للنادي غير مريح بالنسبة لنا، وسنحاول الوصول لأفضل الحلول الممكنة لضمان استقرار برشلونة لأن هذا أكثر ما يقلقنا على المدى القصير”.

وكان المجلس الماضي يحاول مع اللاعبين في الفريق الأول لكرة القدم لتخفيض رواتبهم السنوية من أجل ضمان عدم دخول برشلونة في أزمة مالية طاحنة تؤثر على قوة النادي الاقتصادية في المستقبل.

[ad_pod ]West Ham United fans on Twitter have been naming their 2018/2019 Hammer of the Year and to say that they’re split on who should collect the award is a major understatement.

This came after the club posted on the social media platform to announce that voting was now open for the yearly accolade, the winner of which is chosen by the Claret & Blue Army at the end of each term.

And after a first season under Manuel Pellegrini that has included many highs and looks set to see the team finish comfortably in mid-table in the Premier League, there is clearly no lack of different contenders to take the award off last year’s winner Marko Arnautovic and become the 2018/2019 Hammer of the Year.

Supporters in the comments of the East Londoners’ post threw up a remarkable six different names, from Lukasz Fabianski in goal to club-record signing Felipe Anderson in attack.

أشاد جوزيه مورينيو المدير الفني لفريق توتنهام، بالأداء الذي قدمه اللاعب جاريث بيل في مباراة الأمس، أمام برايتون في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

وتلاقى الفريقان في سابع جولات البريميرليج، حيث فاز توتنهام بهدفين مقابل هدف.

وجاء هدف فوز توتنهام عن طريق جاريث بيل في الدقيقة 73، بعد مشاركته كبديل في الدقيقة 70.

وقال مورينيو، في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة “بي بي سي” العالمية: “جاريث بيل مستقر للغاية، ناضج جدًا، إنه يعرف جسده أفضل من أي شخص آخر”.

وأضاف: “نحن نعرف إلى أين نريد أن نذهب وهو معنا في تلك الرحلة، لا يستطيع حاليًا أن يخوض 90 دقيقة في مباراة في الدوري الإنجليزي، ولكن الدوري الأوروبي يساعده في تحقيق ذلك”.

News emerged yesterday that Newcastle United’s record signing is to miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

This brings an end to the Paraguayan’s first season in England. Although he did not manage a single goal or assist, his pace in behind has completely transformed the Magpies’ attack.

Ayoze Perez has scored seven goals since Almiron joined, before that he only had three in the league,  as the speed and directness of the 25-year-old has allowed Perez and Salomon Rondon to have more space to work with, which they have exploited to great effect.

Sitting on 41 points and with Premier League safety secured for another season, Almiron’s injury is not the end of the world as it will now allow one of their summer signings to get some game time.

Perfect for Muto

Muto was signed from Mainz in a £9.5 million deal but he has found game time very hard to come by in the second-half of the season since the arrival of Almiron – he has only made 14 appearances for the Magpies so far.

He was not helped by the fact he was called up to the Asian Cup squad and thus missed December and January, before this he played in the Newcastle team that did not win in any of their first ten matches but was arguably the Magpies’ best player in that spell.

He scored a goal at Old Trafford in a 3-2 defeat  whilst he also looked busy and creative with pace and a willingness to run in behind in all of his early season performances.

Now that Almiron is out for the season, Perez and Rondon need that player who can make runs beyond the defence and create space for their partnership to blossom.

Muto would be a perfect replacement for Newcastle’s last games – they take on Brighton and Fulham with Liverpool sandwiched in-between.

The games against a relegated team and one battling relegation would probably be the best time to use the 26-year old, his pace and work-ethic would certainly trouble both defences.

For Mainz Muto scored 27 in 72 appearances whilst his Japanese record is three goals in 29 games.

This suggests that Muto will be a success on Tyneside, he has had a disrupted season with injury and Asian Cup duties coupled with the arrival of Almiron, resulting in limited appearances, but these last few games should give the Japanese international a chance to impress the Toon faithful.

Tottenham fans have had it so good in the Mauricio Pochettino years at the club, yet it hasn’t always been this good. The Lilywhites have finished as low as 15th in the Premier League, and only recently have started to reach the top of the game, and the fans believe that change started when Martin Jol came to the club in 2004.

Tottenham fans have been given an exclusive interview with the Dutchman by The Telegraph, and the 63-year-old has nothing but good memories of his time at the club, revealing that he still has a house in Tottenham next to the club’s old Chigwell training ground. It seems that he really does love the club and even claimed to own a Jimmy Greaves’ Spurs shirt from the sixties as he grew up a Spurs fan.

Jol became a lot more than just a Tottenham fan, though, and he can be accredited with starting the revolution at the club that has now seen them rise to become Champions League semi-finalists. During a time when Tottenham were lost in mid-table obscurity, Jol came in and took the Lilywhites to consecutive 5th placed finishes, leading to their rise as a consistent European competitor.

يذكر، أن محمد صلاح يتواجد في صفوف معسكر منتخب مصر للمرة الأولى منذ بطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية الأخيرة التي أجريت في صيف العام الماضي بمصر.

Having achieved Premier League safety, the job now for Ralph Hasenhuttl is to build Southampton back up to the top-ten side they used to be. That would be nice, wouldn’t it? Just something to sing about again would be lovely. 

No one needs telling that the Saints have really lost their way in the last two seasons or so – the chopping of changing of managers and players has finally caught up with them. Though in Hasenhuttl, they look to have a very astute manager who could genuinely make a real difference, not only to the way they play but their league position most importantly as well.

If backed in the right way this summer, the Austrian is who the fans believe will make a telling difference for the future of Southampton Football Club.

And with rumours already circulating (as per Own Goal Nigeria earlier this week), it is now about signing the right players and recruiting well, something they haven’t done in recent years.

Although yet again it would be a risk, the capture of forward Victor Osimhen would be fantastic business for the Saints. Osimhen, (who is valued at £6.7 million on Transfermarkt) is the latest name linked with a move to St Mary’s and Southampton fans shouldn’t hide the fact that before he has mentioned, little would have known who he was.

Those mystery signings often go one of two ways, but under Ralph Hasenhuttl, there is nothing to suggest that Victor Osimhen wouldn’t be a success. Yes, it’s a step up of epic proportions but the infamous black box for transfers used to throw these sort of gems all the time, so there’s precedent here.

Indeed, whilst on-loan with Belgium top tier RSC Charleroi, the 20-year-old Nigerian international has struck an impressive 16 goals in 32 games. In a high-pressing, attacking and vibrant team, he could certainly look a real prospect and perhaps even replace some of the lethal counter-attacking threat lost when Sadio Mane departed in 2016.

Now, we aren’t comparing the two in terms of ability but, in terms of profile at similar stages of their career, comparisons can be drawn.

Granted, prices are inflated these days and he would demand a sizeable transfer fee but Osimhen has real potential under Ralph Hasenhuttl, who is no stranger to developing young players.
