O jogador de 26 anos comemorou os primeiros minutos pelo Coxa.

– Muito feliz por estrear, estar em campo, ajudar o Coritiba. Já fazia um tempo que não atuava no Brasil, então foi uma sensação diferente estar de volta ao futebol brasileiro. Ainda estou me adaptando, buscando meu melhor na questão de ritmo também, então foi muito importante – disse Mattheus, que completou:

– Foi uma grande vitória, nossa equipe se impôs no jogo desde o início, conseguiu abrir uma vantagem relativamente cedo no jogo e, depois de sofrer o gol, seguimos atuando da mesma forma, procurando ficar com a bola e fazer o que o Jorginho nos pede. Foi uma grande apresentação de todos.

Para emendar uma sequência positiva, o Coritiba agora enfrenta o Santos em seus domínios, sai para enfrentar o Ceará e volta a jogar em casa, dessa vez contra o Atlético-GO.

Pensando nessa parte da temporada para a equipe paranaense, Mattheus quer que a equipe de Jorginho aproveite o embalo e some pontos no Brasileirão:

– Temos mais uma sequência difícil, mas esse é o Brasileirão. Jogos complicados, boas equipes. Apesar de ainda infelizmente não termos nossa torcida do nosso lado, temos de aproveitar os dois jogos que temos em casa e somar pontos sempre que pudermos.

وجاء ذلك بعد تحقيق فريق نادي بيراميدز الفوز على نظيره سموحة، بثلاثية دون رد في خضم مؤجلات الجولة الحادية عشر من عمر الدوري المصري الممتاز “النيل”.

The United Arab Emirates has been awarded the 2018 Asia Cup that was originally slated to be held in India. The tournament will be played between September 13 and 28, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.Political tensions between India and Pakistan has been cited as the reason for the change. “The ACC deliberated on the matter and decided that this was the best way forward,” Asian Cricket Council and PCB chairman Najam Sethi told ESPNcricinfo. “All decisions were unanimous. All participants agreed to support the return of international cricket to Pakistan subject to certain constraints. That’s why the ACC Annual General Meeting will he held in Lahore and the BCCI has pledged to participate in it like all other ACC members. That’s why a number of matches of the Emerging Asia Cup will be played in Pakistan.”The Asia Cup will feature 50-overs games between Full Members India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and a sixth team. The sixth team will be determined via a play-off that includes UAE, Hong Kong, Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia and Oman. Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be the venues for the tournament, where India is to serve as the official host. The Emirates Cricket Board is renting out the stadiums.This will be the 14th edition of the Asia Cup. The first 12 were staged as ODI competitions, while the previous Asia Cup in 2016 was the first to be held as a T20I event, effectively as a warm-up event ahead of the World T20. India are the defending champions, having beaten Bangladesh in the final two years ago.The 2018 Emerging Teams’ Asia Cup, meanwhile, will be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. كشف أحمد سالم المتحدث الرسمي باسم نادي الزمالك عن رأيه في أداء فيتور بيريرا رئيس لجنة الحكام، موضحًا رأيه في احتمالية عدم مشاركة الفريق بالنسخة المقبلة من بطولة كأس الكونفدرالية الإفريقية.

وقال أحمد سالم في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة ام بي سي مصر2: “نعم الزمالك نجح في إدارة الأزمة، وكان هناك تحفظ شديد في التصريحات الإعلامية، كنا نقول إن لنا مطالب ولم نُدخل أطرافا في الموضوع، نُطالب في حدود صلاحياتنا ولم نستفز أحدًا”.

وبسؤاله هل الزمالك يرى بيريرا رئيس لجنة الحكام ناجحا؟، أوضح: “بالتأكيد لا، ولا الرئيس السابق أيضا، لا توجد معايير ثابتة أو قياسات في توزيع المباريات على الحكام، هل عندنا احصائيات للحكام؟، هل عندما ارتكب حكمان كوارثا ضد الزمالك هل تم محاسبتهما؟ لا، بل أدارا مباريات بعد ذلك”.

وأردف: “احترمت ثروت سويلم بعد اعتذاره، وهذا يشفع له، لكنه عاد وتحدث في أمورا لن تفيدنا في شيء، ويقول اشتكوني في مجلس الشعب والجمهورية الجديدة لا يجب أن يحدث فيها ذلك، ما دخل تلك الأمور؟، نحن سألنا أسئلة نريد إجابة، لماذا لم يواجه الأهلي بيراميدز حتى الآن؟، ولماذا لم يرسل لنا الجدول الذي سيلعب بعد 11 يوليو؟”.

وحول كيف يتم النظر في احتمالية عدم مشاركة الزمالك في الكونفدرالية؟، أوضح: “كل الأمور ستدرس، غيابنا عن إفريقيا سيكون حدثًا، هذا الملف فيه لوائح جديدة، وسنعود للخبراء القانونيين، ونحن لسنا صامتين، المجلس الحالي يدفع أخطاء كارثية يبدو أنه سيظل يدفع ثمنها حتى نهاية دورته، و(يا ريت حد ينصفنا)، وهل لا يوجد قانون يُحاسب المسؤولين السابقين على الكوارث التي ارتكبوها؟”.

وأشار: “لو قرأتم حكم المحكمة الرياضية في قضية خالد بوطيب ستضحكون، به كوارث، النادي أذن للاعب بالسفر إجازة، وظل يرسل له النادي خطابات على منزله في مصر لكي لا يرد ويكون في إثبات حالة، وهذا تحايل”.

وواصل: “خالد بوطيب لو سمع الإعلام المصري سيعتقد أن الزمالك مُضطر للدفع، لكن الزمالك ليس مُضطرًا لدفع أي شيء، هناك اجراءات كثيرة، وسامسون أزمته انتهت وحصل على مستحقاته، ولا يوجد لاعب سيرحل عن الزمالك بأي أزمة”.

وحول ماذا سيفعل الزمالك في مسألة البحث عن حقوقه؟، أجاب: “الفترة الماضية كان يتم حساب ما سيحدث في الفترة القصيرة، وبداية من الغد سنقرر ماذا سنفعل في القادم على المدى الطويل، وسنبدأ العمل على ما قررناه”.

West Ham United are thriving at senior level but have also been nurturing the next crop of academy talent after the emergence and recent £105m sale of Declan Rice to Arsenal, and might have an evolving titan in Luizao, who arrived from Brazil in January.

Who is Luizao?

While arriving from Sao Paolo to the Irons academy only in December 2022, as a 20-year-old, Luizao is very much an important member of the development squad and is viewed as a prospect with the potential to cement a starting berth in David Moyes' first-team set-up in the future.

A late bloomer, Luizao only made his senior debut in his homeland in May 2022, which is why he is now aged 21 and still acclimatising to life in England beneath the surface.

More often than not, patience is a virtue and West Ham have recognised the worth of steadily aiding this talent's growth; one day, he might be an awe-inspiring titan at the back.

Previously, in Brazil, Luizao made 20 appearances for Sao Paolo and scored one goal, while he has now made as many matches for the Hammers' second team and scored twice, including seven outings this term.

As he continues to progress, there is perhaps an eventual expectation that he will take the baton from Angelo Ogbonna, who is nearing the end of his stay in east London.

When does Angelo Ogbonna's contract expire?

Ogbonna has been a stalwart for West Ham and has now completed 236 matches since signing from Juventus for a reported £10m in 2015.

Barring a late, unexpected change, the veteran defender will depart the London Stadium next summer upon the expiry of his contract, which is indeed set for expiry in June.

Given West Ham's acquisition of Luizao in December 2022, he may well have been identified as the perfect successor to the former Italy international's position in the squad.

And while he has yet to make his maiden showing for Moyes' men, he is surely approaching his debut – especially with the need for integration rising as Ogbonna approaches the culmination of his Irons career.

How good is Angelo Ogbonna?

Now 35-years-old, it certainly does appear unlikely that West Ham will offer Ogbonna new terms, especially considering he has fallen down the pecking order and Konstantinos Mavropanos was signed from Stuttgart for £19m in the summer.

But that's okay, he's in the twilight of his career and has enjoyed immense success as a central presence in West Ham's meteoric rise under Moyes' tutelage, clinching glory with a triumph in the Europa Conference League last season – a campaign where Ogbonna forged seven starting showings.

Once heralded as "brilliant" by ExWHUemployee, Ogbonna boasts a career average 83.2% pass success rate, while also making 1.2 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 4.4 clearances per game, as per WhoScored.

Luizao might be a relatively unknown commodity in English football, but he is deemed a 'promising' player by West Ham's official website and has been working hard to make the increments to his game in anticipation of a shot at the big time.

The Irons are well-equipped defensively and losing Ogbonna will unlikely play detriment to their future ambitions, but as he departs, 6 foot 1 Luizao will have the opportunity to impress and must now be allowed to do so to demonstrate his skills on the Premier League scene.
